Winter trek Duwara or Dawara starts from the hamlet Dawara in the Himachal Pradesh district of Kullu. It is located between Kullu and Manali. This community is well-known for the Lord Vishnu Temple and its orchards. Because it is lower in elevation than Manali, it snows less here and allows you to visit places that are hot throughout the summer.
We begin our tour from Duwara to Dhachani Settlement, a little village with a few buildings built in the Kastkuni architecture. (Old-fashioned wooden dwellings) Dahacni hamlet has a beautiful view of the Kullu Valley and the high mountain ranges of Dauladhar and Pirpanjal. Stay in camp for the night.
We take a stroll up to Nagoni Meadow after breakfast today. It is a hike through the forest with a beautiful view of Kullu Valley and Fozal Valley. Fojal Brook is a feeder to the Beas River. We head down to Dachani camp after lunch.
Today, after breakfast, we travel to Dawara through a few villages i.e. Bhujnu, Meha, and Ligcha. It’s a beautiful trek through Hamlet and apple orchards. This walk captures the essence of alpine village life.
