The Alpine Ski Mountaineering Course, which combines mountaineering and backcountry skiing, is a thrilling activity that needs a wide range of abilities. Skiers in the backcountry must always bring acute observation skills as well as the capacity to analyze and comprehend day-to-day and hour-to-hour variations in mountain weather and snowpack.
The foundations of backcountry skiing are covered in this Alpine Ski Mountaineering (Bravura ) course, including the usage and operation of touring equipment, terrain selection, track setup, route finding, and going securely as a group. We then set up camp on the Greater Himalayan Pir Panjal range and progress to winter camping, glacier travel for skiers, and steep terrain travel with an ice axe and crampons. If the weather and conditions permit, we may be able to descend from the mountain summit.
Equipment: All group climbing equipment rope, ice axe, crampons, etc. will be provided. Personal equipment i.e. shoes, sleeping bag, or pad you can hire. An individual Alpine ski touring set will be provided (check ski set costing).
