  • Includes: Professional guide, Permits, 2 people shared tent accommodation, all meals from day-1 lunch to day-22 lunch, drive from Manali to trek start point and back to Manali, safety equipment with first aid kit, other technical equipment and all group climbing gear like ropes, anchors, slings, etc. 
  • Excludes: travel to and from Manali, sleeping bag, an individual climbing kit which would be hired climbing boots, ice-axes, crampons and gaiters, personal clothing items, phone calls, insurance, meals while driving, camera fee, cost incurred as a result of unanticipated situations like as terrible weather, landslides, road conditions, or any other factors beyond our control.
  • Optional: On-request transportation to and from Manali, Extra cost for potter/mule for a day pack.

Kullu Makalu Itinerary

Day 1 & 2 – Manali

Begin your adventure in the vibrant town of Manali, where preparations and acclimatization activities set the stage for the challenging days ahead.

Day 3 – Manali to Batal

Embark on a scenic journey from Manali to Batal, laying the foundation for the expedition.

Day 4 – Batal to Snout Camp (3900m)

The ascent officially kicks off, with the first camp established at the Snout, situated at 3900 meters.

Day 5 – Snout Camp to Intermediate Camp (4300m)

Gain altitude as you progress to the Intermediate Camp, reaching 4300 meters.

Day 6 – Intermediate Camp to Concordia Base (4800m)

Continue the ascent, reaching the Concordia Base at an elevation of 4800 meters, surrounded by the grandeur of the Himalayas.

Day 7-8 – Load Ferry to Camp 1

Prepare for the challenges ahead by ferrying essential supplies to Camp 1.

Day 9 – Rest Day

Take a well-deserved rest day, allowing for acclimatization and mental rejuvenation.

Day 10 – Shift to C1

Transition to Camp 1, advancing higher into the towering peaks.

Day 11 – C1 to C2 Load Ferry

A strategic move involves ferrying supplies to Camp 2 in preparation for the higher altitudes.

Day 12 – Shift to C2

Ascend to Camp 2, further immersing yourself in the high-altitude environment.

Day 13 – C2 to C3 Load Ferry

Continue the preparation by ferrying supplies to Camp 3, a critical step towards the summit.

Day 14 & 15 – Route Open

Devote these days to opening and securing the route for the final push to the summit.

Day 16 & 17 – Summit Day

The culmination of your efforts as you stand atop the Kullu Makalu Peak, savoring the breathtaking views.

Day 18 – Back to C1

Commence the descent, returning to Camp 1.

Day 19 – C1 to Base Camp:

Descend further, returning to the base camp, marking the completion of the summit.

Day 20 – Base Camp to Snout Camp

Descend through the varied landscapes, moving from the base camp to the Snout Camp.

Day 21 – Snout Camp to Batal

Continue the descent, reflecting on the accomplishment as you journey from the Snout Camp to Batal.

Day 22 – Batal to Manali

Conclude the adventure with the return journey from Batal to the vibrant town of Manali.
