Hanuman Tibba, located in Himachal Pradesh’s Dhauladhar Range, is the highest peak in the range, rising 5,982 meters above sea level. It is situated northwest of Manali and west of Solang. The Tentu Pass lies to the north of Hanuman Tibba, while the Kalihani is to the south.

Including and Excluding

  • Includes: Professional guide, Permits, 2 people shared tent accommodation, all meals from day-1 lunch to day-12 lunch, drive from Manali to Dhundi trek start point and back to Manali, safety equipment with first aid kit, other technical equipment, and all group climbing gear like ropes, anchors, slings, etc. 
  • Excludes: travel to and from Manali, sleeping bag, an individual climbing kit which would be hired climbing boots, ice-axes, crampons and gaiters, personal clothing items, phone calls, insurance, meals while driving, camera fee, cost incurred as a result of unanticipated situations like as terrible weather, landslides, road conditions, or any other factors beyond our control.

Hanuman Tibba Ascent Itinerary

Day 01: Manali acclimatization & equipment check

Organize your climbing equipment once you arrive. Examine your climbing equipment (climbing boots, crampons, and harnesses). After lunch, spend some time touring the town. Optional: You may visit the Hadimba temple, the Vashisht hot water springs, or the Roerich Art Gallery in Naggar while in Manali.

Day 02: Manali to Bakkarthatch 3200 m (6 hrs)

After an early breakfast, travel for an hour through Palchan and Solang Nallah to Dhundi (2850m), the expedition’s starting point. The brief journey follows the Beas River on its right bank before abruptly ascending to the Bakkarthatch grazing meadows.

Day 03: Bakkarthatch to Base Camp Beas kund 3641 m (4 hrs)

Establish a base camp in the Beas Kund region after crossing the glacier Moraine. Beas Kund gives you a magnificent view of the Dhuladhar and Pir Panjal range of the great Himalayas and is surrounded by Hanuman Tibba, Friendship, Shitidhar, and Ladakhi peaks.

Day 04: Acclimatization Day

Acclimatization days are usually spent resting at altitude and getting some crucial technical training for the next ascent. As a result, the climb is safe, smooth, and assured.

Day 05: Basecamp Beas Kund to ABC Advance base camp 4100m (3-4 hrs)

Today we will go to the Advanced Base Camp, which is located just beneath the Tentu Pass. It’s a modest camping area. Where we established our advanced base camp (ABC).

Day 06: ABC Advance base camp to Camp 1 5030m ( 4-5hrs)

Cross the Tentu pass and pitch your tent beside a little lake on the opposite side of the pass. The most crucial component of the Hanuman Tibba expedition is the Tentu Pass. This pass must be crossed through difficult climbing.

Day 07: Camp 1 to Summit camp 5200m (4-5hrs)

The climb is long and difficult, crossing crevasses on a continuous glacier. We will set up camp in Summit Camp on the glacier and prepare for the summit attempt the following day.

Day 8 & 9: Summit Days for Hanuman Tibba Peak ascent 5982 m

Begin the summit push very early in the morning and spend some time on the peak with munches and photographs. Then return to Summit camp. (Extra days may be utilized for summit, acclimatization, relaxation, or extreme weather anytime along the path at the discretion of the mountain guide.)

Day 10: Summit camp to Camp 1 5030m ( 4-5hrs)

Same route back to camp one, traversing crevasses on a continuous glacier.

Day 11: Camp 1 to Base camp Beas kund 3641 m (4-5 hrs)

Descend returning to the base camp near Beas Kund from the Tentu Pass.

Day 12: Base camp to road head (4 hrs) and drive back to Manali (1 hrs)

Trek from Beas Kund to Dhundi, the road ahead, and then drive back to Manali.
